Misdirection plays are great for late game situations when you can catch a defender relax just long enough to take advantage of it. In this play, 1 enters to the 5 on wing and then shallow cuts to rub 4’s defender freeing him up to receive pass. After that, the 5 then sprints to block to post and receive pass from 2. After passing, the 2 then jogs away to top of key to set defender up to sprint back off a screen from the 4 for a quick shot.
